Web based applications are fast becoming a desirable alternative for any business that operates in multiple locations, or has a need to exchange electronic information with customers using fast and efficient methods. Bacchus is currently developing the entire TIMS system to run as a web application which may, for some organisations, offer significant advantages over the traditional client/server application. For example, a web application can eliminate the need to maintain and update software on pc workstations; and reduce the need for additional training as it is delivered in the familiar internet environment.
Bacchus has a number of Web Applications specifically designed for interaction with your customers. These applications interface directly with the TIMS software, updating the database instantaneously. Our Account Query web application allows customers to review their account status and pay invoices online. When the payment is submitted by the customer, TIMS automatically posts the debtor and ledger record. Our Fault Log web application allows remote locations to record faults directly into the workshop for the manager to schedule immediately or for a future date.
